Mentor Woman's Club Community Involvement


Since 1939, Mentor Woman's Club members have volunteered thousands of hours to the community, schools, hospitals, and other  organizations. Some of the current community projects include college scholarships, 7th Grade Essay Contest, LakeEast Hospital Bookmobile and baby caps, Wildwood Cultural Center Garden (Mentor OH), and HOBY Leadership.

In addition, the Club supports Forbes House, Salvation Army Soup Kitchen, Kind News Newspaper, Lake County Historical Society, YMCA Camperships, and Project Hope.

Mentor Woman's Club was recognized as Organization of the Year by Mentor Area Chamber of Commerce in 2000. In 1999, the club received the JC Penney Company Golden Rule Award as Volunteer Organization of the Year.
